Hypnotherapy for Anxiety and Panic Attacks:
I came to Chalene after experiencing panic attacks and anxiety for the first time in my life. I tried to manage it myself but after 6 months it began to take over my life and after doing my research I decided she was the best therapist for me.
We decided hypnotherapy was a good direction for me, I was apprehensive at first but Chalene put me at ease.
Within 3 sessions she completely turned me around, helped me recognise what my causes were and what I needed to do to regain control of my life. I really could not have done it without her, she helped me get my spark back.
I highly recommend her, you will not regret it!

I went to see Chalene to try hypnotherapy as I had been told by a friend it helped them for their anxiety.
Initially my anxiety had started from stress at work but soon became an everyday occurrence, feeling anxious about everyday activities and even more so about going out on my own, or big events such as going away on holiday.
I didn't really know anything about hypnotherapy only what you see on TV, and it isn't like that!
Chalene made me feel very relaxed and was very easy to talk to. We used the sessions to work through my daily anxiety and work towards feeling better about my summer holiday.
After a few sessions of hypnotherapy I very quickly began to feel a lot better and a lot different. Chalene helped me with tools and ways of managing it/thinking about it differently. After around 4 months with Chalene I have honestly not felt my anxiety or panic in the same way ever since!
I would highly recommend hypnotherapy and more so Chalene to anyone suffering with anxiety or similar feelings.

You will be plesaed to know that I drove to work and back! No stomach flips, just listened to music, even went down a village road to drop some shopping off! Whatever you have done, seems to have done the trick! Definately no anxiety, think that's the end now, I'm not allowing these feelings to take hold!

Hypnotherapy for Pain Relief:
After spending 12 months with chronic chest pain, going backwards and forwards to the Doctors, and had every possible test, I was prescribed 2 types of very strong pain killers with maximum dosage. The pain never went regardless of the tablets and I was becoming more dependant on them and could see no light at the end of the tunnel, just misery.
It had been suggested to me at pain clinic that along with the tablets, I also tried other methods of pain relief.
Hypnotherapy was mentioned but I had never met anyone before who had used it and the Doctors didn't really give an opinion.
After a few more miserable months, I decided that I needed to try something else as the tablets were clearly not working.
Chalene's profile came up first. What I read sounded very promising and after reading a few other therapists profiles, I phoned Chalene.
On our first meeting, I felt safe,not judged and reassured that all would be ok. It was very emotional for me, but the session had a huge impact straight away and afterwards my pain level had gone down.
Each week, Chalene would teach me new skills of how to cope with my pain, to recognise it, listen to my body and to then "Let it Go".
Stress is the reason behind my pain and I wish that I had found Chalene and her hypnotherapy sooner, rather than have all of those tablets.
Life is still very stressful, but my pain has gone and am no longer taking tablets. On the odd occasion that I do get pain, I know exactly what to do and the pain just goes.
I would recommend hypnotherapy to anyone who is in any pain that can not be picked up on tests or with any other issues that should arise, where hypnotherapy could help.
Chalene has made me find myself again and helped to put my life into perspective. I will always be grateful to her,her calming voice and wonderful journeys that she has taken me on during my
sessions. These new skills will stay with me always.

Hypnotherapy for Weight Loss and Hypno Band
Hypno-band works !! Having been a yo-yo dieter for the past 20yrs I thought I would give it a go, if you mention to me go on a diet all I want to do is eat and I always found that I was planning one meal after another, with Hypno-band things changed for the better, it helped me change my way of eating, it also stopped me thinking about food all the time because I am eating everything I want, but halving the portions.
The hypnotherapy calmed my approach to eating it has become something I do when I`m hungry not because it`s lunchtime etc.
I could never leave food on my plate even if I was fit to burst but now when I am full up I just stop eating, it has helped me come to terms with eating the right food and the portion size and believe or not I enjoy my food even more than I
did.
Chalene has a really calming effect on you and she has helped me lose a stone in 8 weeks, I have a long way to go but my approach to loosing the weight is completely different. I just think to myself 1 or 2lbs a week is fine and by the end of the year I will be 4 stone lighter.
Don't weigh yourself every week just go by your clothes it`s much more encouraging.

Deciding to book hypnotherapy was one of the best decisions I have made, although I was sceptical at first it has made me stronger and helped me reassess where I am in my life now.
I feel calmer and in control of my future rather than uncertainty. Chalene is a calming influence, great listener and was completely non judgemental when we covered some difficult periods in my younger life.
I am looking forward to the future again.

Stop Smoking Hypnotherapy:
Just letting you know that I am still a none smoker. I'm finding it no problem at all, getting better each day. Have no desire to light up, and get this" have saved £40 so far amazing !!!! I'm still going strong, my congestion is going, my cough has gone, I'm starting to feel less cloudy in the head, my energy is improving. So those are the benefits so far, and it's only been a week!! It's the best thing I've ever done. Wish I'd done it years ago.'

Counselling:
At first I thought counselling was a weakness and made me less of a person because I couldn't deal with things on my own, I couldn't have been more wrong, the counselling sessions I came to with Chalene opened up my eyes to the reality that asking or needing help wasn't a weakness, it's was a strength to ask and get help when I needed it, Chalene made me appreciate myself and realise my self worth, my issues in my relationship and the fact that I couldn't go on blaming myself as there are 2 people in a relationship, it takes 2 people to make a relationship work and the things my other half had done were not my fault but her choice, my confidence grew back to where I once was and self esteem too, I'd recommend anyone needing extra help in Chalene's expertise should contact her without delay as she can help you as she helped me, all the best and good luck!

Counselling: I was really apprehensive about starting counselling, not knowing what to expect and afraid of being judged. Chalene really put me at ease from the first session, and although I felt uncomfortable for the first few weeks it felt like a weight off my shoulders getting great advice, support and understanding. Even if I needed a little advice outside of a session, she was never hesitant to help. I would recommend Chalene above anyone else.

I’d been suffering from anxiety (and PTSD, unbeknown to me) for a few years when I started counselling with Chalene. I can 100% recommend Chalene! She guided me in rewiring my thinking and helped me gain a different perspective. She made me realise the importance for self-care and not shying away from my emotions, and allowing others in to give me support.
Chalene took the time to teach me Mindfulness and mediation, the latter becoming very useful in everyday life. I was very sceptical about hypnosis but after having a few mild session of hypnosis she has completely changed my view of it. I can confidently say that since the Mindfulness, mediation and hypnosis sessions I am feeling so much calmer. And having spoken to a trained and caring professional my mind feels less chaotic. Before I came to counselling, I felt like a victim and had been abused as a child. Working with Chalene has given me much encouragement and inspiration. She has a gentle and kind spirit.
She has over time helped me to remove the label I have carried around with me all my life, “I am not good enough” to replace it with the belief that “I am good enough”, from victim to victorious.
What people have put on me no longer serves me. I came wrapped in a cocoon, a very tight one, and full of problems.
Chalene has guided me onto a healthy, happier path and help me to gain better understanding of myself. I am able to see myself in a new light, and come out of my hiding place wrapped in a cocoon. Over the course of counselling, I have achieved things I never thought possible or even dreamed of.
Chalene helped me to unwrap my tight cocoon layer by layer and to reveal inside a beautiful butterfly that has the label “I am good enough”. I have found that I have beautiful wings and I am free to fly, to be.
I feel that I have emerged from my cocoon into the most awesome butterfly, flying free.
